Ingin meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran kita? Berikut saya petikkan tawaran beasiswa dari Fullbright (AMINEF). Syaratnya tidak begitu sulit, oleh karenanya saya menyarankan teman-teman untuk mencobanya. Jangan menyerah sebelum berjuang.

INTERNATIONAL LEADERSHIP IN EDUCATION PROGRAM (ILEP)
PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT

The International Leadership in Education Program (ILEP) is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, and is implemented by IREX (the International Research & Exchanges Board), a Washington, DC based non-profit organization. ILEP will provide 52 teachers from the Near East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia with unique opportunities to develop expertise in their subject areas, enhance their teaching skills and increase their knowledge about the United States. The program will consist of a semester-long academic program at a U.S. university, including coursework and intensive training in teaching methodologies, curriculum development, teaching strategies for their home environment, educational leadership, as well as the use of computers for Internet, word processing and as tools for teaching. The semester-long program, which will commence in January 2008 and conclude in June 2008, will also include an internship at a secondary school to engage participants actively with the American teachers and students. Trips to U.S. cultural sites and academic support will be provided for participants throughout the program.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS MUST BE:
1. Secondary-level, full-time teachers with five or more years of classroom disciplines including: 2. English as a Foreign Language; Social Studies; Civics; Mathematics; Science.
Citizens of the Republic of Indonesia
3. Have English-language proficiency in written and spoken English with a minimum ITP TOEFL of 500

Applicants submit the original application and four complete copies (for a total of five copies). Each copy of the application should be submitted in the following order:
1. Applications
2. Curriculum vitae (see sample in the application),
3. Statement of purpose,
4. Completed recommendation form and letter as weel as completed institution support form,
5. A copy of your KTP or passport (or photo identification),and
6. A copy of ITP TOEFL Score

HOW TO APPLY
Candidates should complete the application forms and return them to AMINEF by the application deadline. Forms are available either by mail or in person at the AMINEF Office, Gedung Balai Pustaka, 6th floor, Jl. Gunung Sahari Raya 4, Jakarta 10720. Specific questions regarding the application process are accepted via e-mail at the following address: mailto:infofulbright@aminef.or.id. We do not accept email applications. Hard copies must be sent or delivered to American Indonesian Exchange Foundation.

DEADLINE
The deadline for the submission of application materials for all programs is May 16, 2009 at 4:00 p.m.
